TOMORROW - SUNDAY 25th JANUARY
A heavy band of rain in the morning soon clearing to brighter, showery conditions for a time before another band of heavier rain crosses the area during the evening. Winds south-westerly strong to perhaps gale force in places later backing westerly and perhaps moderating down the east side.
MONDAY 26th JANUARY
A cold start with some blustery wintry showers but this will not last long as some milder air again moves in from the south-west bringing rain overnight. Winds Westerly force 5 to 6 veering north-westerly for a time.
TUESDAY 27th JANUARY
Overcast with showers or longer outbreaks of rain. Strong to gale force westerly winds backing south-westerly later.
WEDNESDAY 27th JANUARY
Cloudy with rain in the morning but clearing to brighter spells and showers and as it does so becoming colder once more with wintry showers later. The showers will readily turn to snow even to low levels with lying snow likely and an overnight frost in any clear spells.
