A few showers to begin with but becoming mainly dry and bright with some sunny spells. Fresh to strong southerly winds.

Some fairly heavy rain for the morning this becoming lighter and more showery during the afternoon. Fresh southerly winds becoming south-westerly and becoming strong.
THURSDAY 2nd OCTOBER
A mixture of sunshine and a few showers. Overnight some more persistent and heavier rain will push in from the west. Winds south-westerly 4 to 5 backing southerly 6 to 7 and increasing Gale 8 to Severe Gale 9 overnight.
FRIDAY 3rd OCTOBER
Wet and windy with some heavy rain during the morning which will become light and more showery by afternoon. Force 6 to 7 south-westerly winds easing force 4 to 5 overnight.
